Welcome to, what will hopefully be, the first of a regular series of blogs through which I will update you on what the Trust has been up to in Homewood and beyond and also give you pointers for prayer.
Today is a Staff Training Day in Homewood, this means no students in school, and a chance to reflect on the past term.
We always begin our training days with an hour with the whole staff together reflecting on some of the successes our students have achieved.
It was great to have some of the students I accompanied to Uganda in October 2014 present to the staff on their trip. They spoke of life changing experiences, amazing encounters with people, and growing as individuals and together as a team.
We also took time to reflect on our term in school and the way our students continue to surprise and excite us with their many and varied talents.
As we come up towards a half term break I would ask you to pray that all the staff and students at Homewood have a restful time when they are able to recharge their batteries.
